I was looking around on sigs website this morning. I noticed they have a p229 combat up on their site. I've always thought a p229 combat would be neat. Anyone know if this will be new for 2015 or what?

For damn near $1,300, I'll stick with my old P226 - and maybe even my Officer's 1911.

At least, for EDC. Damn!

* I'm still on the fence for a P938, though. (I think that's the 1911-style, single stack 9mm, anyway! Local shop has one for around $700 iirc.)

Apples and oranges, to be sure.

Buds had a 938 for $489 yesterday. Has the rosewood handles. It was on about page 2 or 3 . I paid $699 for the same gun. Unless it was a typo..WarDawg

Calm down there chief, that's MSRP. They'll probably sell for similar price to the 226 Combat... ~$950.

Anyway, I already have the 226 Combat so I'll probably have to pass on this one.

Nice looking gun.  I like the color scheme.
