I have a PD trade in P220 that is in need of new night sights.  Right now it has #6 front and #9 rear.  I can't seem to find 9's anywhere.  Does anyone know where they can be purchased?

Did you call Sig? What brand night sights are on the gun? You can send your slide to Trijicon or Meeprolite and they can replace the tubes only for like $50 or so.

Go to the Sig website - custom shop page.  Lots of options there.  They recommend you call to discuss options so they can probably help you find just what you need.

Just order two #8s.  They are commonly available from Mep/Trij/SIG.  The differential is 30/1000ths.  Not sure why someone ran 6 front and a 9 rear, when two 8s are common on older 220s and have the exact same trajectory.

Rear Sight Heights:

#4 = 5.24mm (0.21 inches)
#5 = 5.52mm (0.22 inches)
#6 = 5.80mm (0.23 inches)
#7 = 6.07mm (0.24 inches)
#8 = 6.35mm (0.25 inches)
#9 = 6.62mm (0.26 inches)
#10 = 6.90mm (0.27 inches)

Front Sight Heights:

#5 = 6.01mm (0.235 inches)
#6 = 5.88mm (0.230 inches)
#7 = 5.74mm (0.225 inches)
#8 = 5.60mm (0.220 inches)
#9 = 5.46mm (0.215 inches)
#10 = 5.32mm (0.210 inches)

P220 in .45ACP should have a 6 front and an 8 rear...P226 in 9mm should have 8s for both...for stock set ups...

Well, mine came from Asheville PD with 9 in the back and 6 in the front.  Shoots dead on a 25 yards like a laser beam.  Just can't see'em unless it is pitch dark and your eyes have adjusted.  Checking with SIG on what I should do.

Thanks everyone...

do you know how old yours is???...prior to 1999 or there abouts, SIG Lights were made by Trijicon and they can relamp them for a fee that is usually less than a new pair (when I did mine in 2007, it was $49 plus about $10 to ship the slide)...then you can keep the accuracy you like...Trijicon will not relamp Meprolight sights (the current maker of most SIG Lights)

Thanks, I'll call and ask.  Serial number comes back to 2001.
