Hey guys, lurker that finally made an account.
I have a question about a P226 I found for sale locally. I bought a MK 25 last week, and I love everything about it. I went back to the same shop and for some ammo, but he had an interesting pistol there. It was a P226 with e2 grips, a threaded barrel, night sights, and no rail. It also had the long extractor. It is NIB, recent manufacture. I can't find any info about the gun anywhere, but it sure is nice. I really like the look of the no-rail, and I told them to hold it for me. I think it might have had a nicer trigger than my MK 25, but that might just have been because the e2 grips put my finger farther forward. I figure I will swap the threaded barrel to my MK 25, and put the plain barrel in this new gun and carry it. Anyone know about about this model? I'll see if I can post a picture after I pic it up. Here's my MK 25, before anyone asks. 250 rounds through it and I'm loving it. http://i1249.photobucket.com/albums/hh513/JC1900R/DSC02429_zpsabf1f2a0.jpg |
