| Does anyone have any experience with the Sig P250 Sub Compact? Is this gun reliable seeing as how new it is? Any bad experiences? I am looking at this in comparison to maybe a Glock 26 for concealed carry.... |
| I have one in 357 Sig and just love it. It has become in fact my primary carry weapon. It is reliable and accurate, warning it does have a long but very smooth trigger pull. For me that is a plus in a carry weapon, it also is capable of second strike on a primer. The gun feels natural in my hand and has a great point and shoot abilty al least for me. |

ETA: The reason I ask is because you are probably more likely to see a Gen1 P250 at the LGS than you are by ordering online... |

I have a P250 compact in 45acp also have the 9mm X-Change kit for it. Sure would like to see an SC version of the 45acp - the Compact is still a little bulky for CCW unless I wear a coat (too hot here in AZ for that).
It took a while for me to get used to the DAO in the P250 (I carried and shot a Colt Combat Commander for MANY years). Once you get your brain retrained the P250 Compact is a good shooter - and very reliable. |

I do not have one but co worker does. His is either a 9mm or .40. His has a spring that keeps breaking on it. Had it repaired and the same spring broke again. Gun is now being checked out by Sig to see why the springs keep breaking. I am not a fan of the 250 but I have really never looked at them once I saw they were no smaller then my G26. I do not like my G26 much but I will only replace it with a smaller Sig. I do like Sigs and have several of them.
I do know that anybdoy can make a lemon but springs should not be breaking in a new gun. And the new replacement spring also should not break. |
