That is a nice looking pistol and I hope you continue to enjoy it but it is a SIG in name only.
GSG (German Sports Guns) manufactures the SIG 1911 22s and puts SIGs name on them same as Umarex does with the the Colt .22 1911s. The SIG Mosquito isn't actually made by SIG either. The S&W M&P .22 clone isn't made by Smith and Wesson; it's common industry practice for the manufacture of .22 service pistol clones to be outsourced and re-branded. |

The S&W M&P .22 clone isn't made by Smith and Wesson; it's common industry practice for the manufacture of .22 service pistol clones to be outsourced and re-branded. i did allot of resech before i jump in the SIG has a few better parts than the GSG 1911-22 SIG the guide rod is made out of aluminum not plastic like the GSG and if i am correct this is what is call Cache-disc GSG is made out of plastic the SIG is made out of aluminum and the SIG Pressure spring is the correct size GSG uses a different one the only thing that sucks is the paint is already coming off ![]()
