| Hey guys, been searching on here for a few days but most of the posts on here are a bit outdated regarding this problem. I maybe beating a dead horse anyways and I apologize. I picked up a 226 the other day at the local gun shop and took a few shots in their range...I felt like a surgeon operating on that zombie target with such precision so I bought the gun with no regrets what-so-ever. After getting home I realized I had a problem on my hands. I opened my safe and saw my glock 19 sitting there with my AWC titanium abraxas mounted on it and then looked back at the SIG and decided I needed a threaded barrel. Now this wouldn't be a problem if I had bought a normal suppressor, I know I could just change the piston and be making no noise rather quickly, not the case. The AWC can is threaded 1/2x28 AND ONLY 1/2x28. I tried calling SIG directly and spent a while on the phone with a guy named andy and nothin...at all. I saw bar-sto makes a barrel but the 3 month lead time doesn't excite me, I was wondering if anyone knows EXACTLY where I can find a SIG 1/2x28 threaded barrel for my 226. |
