[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Trigger problem

When I have the hammer cocked I noticed that when pulling the trigger it acts like I am at the wall. I keep pulling it clicks then I come to the wall again then the hammer falls. I took the grips off to see what is going on and it looks like the trigger bar is catching on the bottom of the hammer. This is my first sig and it is used I was just woundering if anyone els ahs had this happen. I check a friends sig is doesnt do it. I try to get pics up

It looks like your trigger bar is too far forward. On my P229, the back of the trigger bar is actually touching the hammer (in the SA position). I'm guessing that you purchased an older P220? have you replaced any of the springs since you got it?

Correct it is an older 220 marked made in Germany but not W. germany. The trigger bar is forward because i am pulling the trogger to show where it starts to make the clicking sound. I am a noob to sig.
