Need info/opinions on the 250 compact 9mm....a friend has offered me one that he recent;y got ( two-tone) I have handled it
and looking at it as an option for carry instead of a Glock or my heavier P226.. Thanks |

Friend had one in .40 compact, loved the gun... until I shot it. The trigger travel is like 22 feet to fire. But seriously, hated, HATED the trigger.
He'd gotten the gun and hated the trigger too, so offered it up to me. After putting 2 mags thru it, I didn't want it either. I could not double tap with the weapon at all because of the trigger travel time. I'm sure there will be people that love the trigger, having used a lot of revolvers, I thought I would. And indeed, before I actually fired it, I was seriously leaning toward buying it from him. If they cut the trigger pull distance in half, that'd be a good start for my taste. Definately put a few down range before dropping the cash on one. |

I got one for my wife, she loves it to death. Its currently at sig to get the front tritium replaced and the accuracy checked out. She couldnt even get it on paper at the range. Thinking it was the way she was shooting i tried to give her some coaching tips but finally had to shoot myself, and at 25 yrs it was damn near 10" off (4'oclock position).
Sig offered to check it out and install the new front sight, hopefully they find something wrong with it. Dont want to find out that I really am a horrible shot

I seen the P250 and looked in to it, I figured that it would be a nice cross platform piece but on hitting the youtube.com for reviews I decided not to go with it.
they were stating that the trigger was crap and had feed issues. Is there any way to shorten the pull on one. A friend of mine has one and would like to get it shortened. Anyone know a smith doing Sig trigger mods. I had a friends trigger modified, the pull is heavier but the length is shortened. You can find him and the discussion/comments on P250Sig.com Aenimated1 is his ID Robert Burke is his name. |
