Where in the world can I find the old 226 grips? I really do not like these newer versions, they have got to be fatter (shot old and new side by side and they swell in the trigger finger area, not what I need). I prefer the old 'slimmer' grips that my buddy's has, a model from the 90's. My brother has an early 2000 model and has the older grips as well. I have looked all over and the closet I find are those $120 aluminum grips or grips for a P220 'slim grip'.

No problem, I hope they work out for you. If you have the new style and want to get rid of them let me know. If the old grips are compatible with the newer model I got (might not be  ) then I have no need for these new ones. I'll let you know if they work out.
