Sounds like a really nice pistol at a really great price!!

I kinda doubt those nitesites are new.  Don’t know if you need to do it, but you might want to make sure the nitesite lenses are clean.  Where I used to work I sometimes had people complain that their nitesights were dim, when really the sights were just covered with crud.  I used to clean them with a little bit of Windex on a cotton swab.

And, very obviously, you need to be thinking about getting at least a couple of hi-caps for it!!

I took the chance and purchased one of the $429 specials from CDNN Investements this week.  I was really suprised by the service and the quality of the firearm.  When I called to order it a gentlemen by the name of Jerry answered and was awesome!  He took my order and said he would personally go and pick a good one for me.  Jerry did ok!  The 229 had all most zero holster wear and it came with Trijicon N/S!  The pistol was stamped on the right side in front of the barrel with
"UPSO"? I assume it's a Sheriff's Dept. somewhere?  If anybody knows, please let me know.  The 229 did have some wear on the front of the pistol grip (very minor).  It did come with the orginal box and manual w/ 1 10 rnd. mag.  I couldn't be happier with the pistol.  I'm considering ordering the 220 next ($399)!  I'll try to add pics in the next few days.

Damn good deal. You got a number/website for these folks?

Wow, looks nice but a bit far away down in Montrose.
I went to Ft. Lewis for about a year and a half before transfering up to CSU back in the '80s.  I love that area around Montrose and Durango.
