I picked up Glock #3 this weekend at a gun show. I got a good deal on a LNIB Glock 26 with 2 mags. It compliments my 19c & 17 very well!
I bought the 26 to live in my truck. I can't always carry - especially when I'm working on a clients site and I spend a lot of time traveling by air. So a dedicated "glove box" gun makes sense for my travel/work life. The option of "pocket carry" is nice too. I took it to the range with a LEO friend of mine and we put probably close to 100 rounds through it. We also shot it back-to-back with 19c. The recoil is sharper as you'd expect from a sub-compact design. And naturally, the slide is a little stiffer. The controls are right where I expect them to be and the trigger pull is consistent with my other Glocks. Muzzle flash and climb are more pronounced than the longer guns - and it doesn't settle back on target as quick as my 19c. For the way I plan to use this gun, I'm very happy with my purpose. I like the size and I like the fact that it feels/works just like my other Glocks. It just won't be my first choice for perforating paper targets on a Sunday afternoon. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
