I have a Rock Island 1911 Tactical.
I want a Gen3 G19. Think it is a fair even trade? What say the Glock sub-forum? |

Condition of both? The MSRP is higher on the Glock. The RIA tactical was $475 new. I bought it in April. It has 600 through it and the only flaw is a ding in one of the grips. It's my only handgun. It's a fun gun to shoot, but for me, as a defensive handgun, a G19 makes more sense. The 1911 is just a range toy, which I don't need right ow. As far as condition for the G19... I don't know. I'm just asking if you fellas think it is a fair trade. Used for used. I posted a WTT on EE. I'm also seriously thinking of trading towards the purchase of a new OD frame G19. Then maybe sending the slide out to get refinished in coyote brown.
