I took my G23 to the range today. I just installed a new Rocket 3.5lb. connector.
I fired about 150 rounds. Ran great. I had some old Winchester White Box I thought I would try.
I had 3 Failure to Fires. Never had this happen before.
I tried my carry ammo and it functioned fine.
Do you think it could be the WWB?
I've never had this weapon cough at all. And I was running a Rocket before I installed this one. No problems.

Bad primers maybe???  Was there any firing pin mark on the primer?

All primers had strikes. I'm going to put it on the ammo.
Not much worse than having a weapon that has always been 100% and suddenly having failures

I have had a couple failures  to fire with winchester white box in my gen. 2 glock 23.
i blamed it on the ammo , i have roughly 1500 rounds though it, normally it eats anything.

My guess is it's the WWB.  It's sometimes crap.

Sadly yes.

Winchester should take their name off the box and sell it as great value brand.

I'd still check the FP channel to make sure it's not gunked up but it's probably the ammo.

Yep, Winchester white box although makes good range ammo because it is cheap, It is cheap for a reason. It's probably the most bottom of the barrel ammo you can buy. I agree with what was stated earlier, Winchester should take their name off of it and just let it be sold  as plain black lable ammo...

Indeed.  That shit's been the source of a few KBs in rifles and pistols lately.

I trust my own reloads FAR more than WWB............and they're cheaper.

A few years back I had good luck with WWB from 9mm to .223.
Ahh, the good old days.

Had a bad primer on a WWB 40 recently in my Styer M40.  Gun went click. Manually popped the round out and kept shooting.  Inspected it later and sure enough a nice strike right on the back.  Loaded it and tried again... click.  At that point I gave up and gave it to a shop worker for disposal. It was the only one I had a problem with of the 300 I shot.  Sounds like you got a bad batch...

I keep telling myself I need to invest in a reload set up.
