Will point of aim be the same using the same sights going between 10mm and .45? The more I think about it, the more this idea is making sense to me, since a 10mm is at the top of my want list at the moment.
Anybody with experience with this conversion please chime in with your level of satisfaction and whether it's money well spent. |

this idea does make a lot of sense. for approximately $200 you could buy a KKM G21 10mm conversion barrel and 2 G20 mags. 10mm is a very potent cartridge, no doubt about it, but in my mind it's hard to justify the purchase of a dedicated 10mm Glock @ $500+... especially considering it's almost impossible to find 10mm in my area. BUT, put together a conversion kit for around $200 and suddenly the idea of shooting 10mm becomes a reality.
the issue of the sights and point of impact is an easy fix. i'm sure the 45 and 10mm have completely different trajectories, so a little time at the range should clear this up. i do own a 21SF, but i'm definitely looking to "pull the trigger" on the 10mm conversion barrel very soon! |

my .02/experience.
i bought a kkm barrel(6 inch conversion) off of GT. when fired from a g21 it ran great; when installed into a g21 extended slide it took some tinkering! COSteve can answer any further questions you may have. i made mine to run by following his advice! |
