Will we see one?  I know the HK P2000sk is around the same size and is customizable.  I am curious if they will do the same for the Glock 26/27 series.

Maybe. Won't be for a long time. Don't hold out for 1.

"if it aint broke dont fix it"

love my 26 the way it is, "customized" it by putting a set of night sights on it and shooting the crap out of it

"Gen4 availability: 17, 19, 22, 23, 31 are available now. 21, 26, 27, 34, and 35 are on the way."

From Shaken, Not Stirred, who just took a tour of the Glock factory in Austria.  His post is in the Glock Information Thread, tacked up top.

No date released thus far.  But he got what he got from the "horses mouth".

I specifically bought a spare G19 & G26 because I like the Gen 3 and ddin't want to get stuck with a Gen 4.

I just wish I would have gotten a Mk II Ruger KMK514 while they were still available. I hate the Mk III. Live and learn.

Don't the Gen 4 Glocks require all new ambi mags? Just what I need with the Dem's in control - a gun that won't work with my existing stock of high cap mags.

You wouln't be "stuck" with Gen4................if you read Shaken Not Stirred's post, in the tacked Glock Information Thread, Glock specifically says they have no intention of discontinuing the Gen3 line.

And yes, all standard mags will work in all Gen4 guns, provided you do not reverse the mag catch.

Good to know. I had heard otherwise.
