Just to clear some things up.............

I don't have my G19 yet, so I'm not sure what's going to be available where I'm moving, or what Gen I'm going to end up with.  That being said, I'd like to get a few mags beforehand.

I can buy Gen 4 mags, and they'll work fine in an older Gen G19, correct?

I thought I remember reading certain combinations didn't work.

From what I understand the 4th gen mags will work in any gun.

But the 4th gen Glocks will only accept the new mags.

Gen 4 mags will work in all Gen1 Gen2 and Gen3 guns.

All Gen1 Gen2 and Gen 3 mags will work in Gen4 guns as long as the mag release is not switched to the other side (in this case, only Gen4 mags will work). The Gen4 mags have the mag release cut on both sides rather than just one side like all previous mags.

man thats what i wanted to here, i couldnt believe glock would make it so only a 4th gen mag would fit a 4th gen gun.
