Hi
I own a Glock 27 and found some G32 and G33 mags at GREAT prices. So I bought them thinking that the 357 is a bottle necked 40 so the mags should work fine. Although I had to apply a fair amount of force on the G33's 9th round it fitted the 9 just fine. The issue with the mags came to the G32. After KILLING my thumb I still could only manage 12 round in it. There is like no way that that 13th round is going in. I've compared the followers of some G23 mags and the G32. Except for the markings on them the shape and size look the same. Has anybody experienced this before? Is my logic flawed or should I just be happy with my 12 shot cheapy? BTW they are factory mags. The 357 sig is just not a very popular calibre here in SA and I think the dealer just wanted to clear some shelf space. So got them at 60% off normal retail price. |

Glock mags are really tight when new. Most of us load them up as full as we can and leave them that way for a few weeks. They will loosen up a bit so that over time you'll be able to put all 13 in there. BTW, the Glock mag loader it made to save your thumb on stiff new mags. |

Thanks for the advice. My thumbs are quite tender still. I'll load the mag up and leave it be for a week or so. I've also used 9mm HK USP mags in my USP 40. Works perfectly fine but you the witness holes are 2 rounds out. You load 8 it shows 10. But other than that they are 100% reliable and functional. Also got the USP 9x19 mags for like 1/3 of the normal retail price. |

For some reason you get -1 capacity when loading .40 into 357mags when it comes to Glocks. So you get 12 in a G32 mag, or 9 in the ban-era G32 mag.
It is odd, since most other makes you can use the same mags (because the mags are the same). I have a Sig mag somewhere around here that actually says ".40/.357" on the side. |
