I'm going to get a threaded barrel for use w/ a can & so I was thinking I would port my factory 34 barrel. I already have the handy slide cut out so...
I know some people like porting & some don't. No need to go over that here. I have two questions: -anyone know of a place to do this work? I would want "V" type porting. -will drilling through the barrel make the ports subject to rusting or something, since they wont' be coated in there? |

Magnaport can do it. They have a good rep.
Pretty sure they use EDM to cut 'em. I can only assume that cutting through like that WILL expose some metal that hasn't been Tennifered, as Tennifer is only a surface treatment. But it shouldn't be that big of an issue as long as you properly maintain it (you know, thin film of Break-Free on metal you think might rust  ).
