Do many of you guys carry your Glocks with some sort of light?  I have a TLR-1 with no home at the moment and was thinking about putting it on my new 19.  What kind of holster options and varieties are there that you guys like/use?

I cannot speak for this myself however I have heard some good things about raven concealment holsters

For duty or concealed? I have a tlr-1 on my 32/19 but thats on a 6004 on my war belt. I don't think it would be comfortable in a IWB holster. You will find more holster options for a 19 without the light.

Although I am a LEO, this was geared towards off duty.  I figured there would be more options without the light, but I was just curious to see if many of you guys chose to carry off duty/CHL with the light or not and how you did it.

I'm just a regular CHL guy, but I'll be using a TLR-1 with my G19 once my Raven concealment comes in

Will you be wearing it IWB or OWB? We will want a review!

I think it has a lot to do with body type. I think I'm too thin to pull it off and not print too badly. I would love to though. I don't go out at night/dark anyways and when I do I just carry a light. I'm afraid of the boogy man.

Yes Tim we definitely want a review when you get it!

clharr honestly I was thinking along the lines of your comment, I really don't go out much at night either, but you never know when you may need a light.  On the other hand I could carry a small light like you said you do.

Hell, I dunno, lifes hard decisions

If you are just a "regular CHL guy" I would say don't carry a gun with a light.

I would recomend carring a light seperatly.

You will need a light alone more often than a gun, having your light on your gun will limit things you can do with the light (with out pointing a gun at things).

Or obviously carry a gun w/light AND a seperate light....

However I find I have enough crap on me with out yet another flashlight.

I have carried my G34 with surefire x200 in a Raven OWB with no problems.   I have yet to try IWB.

I have been carrying my Glock 19 with a light attached everyday for about two years now in a Raven setup.  I wear it OWB in the fall and winter and just recently switched back to IWB for the warmer months.

I am not a big guy (5'8 and about 185) and have no problems concealing it under my normal "uniform" of an untucked polo or button up shirt.

I have a TRL-1 on a G19 in a RCS Phantom. I also have a Bladetech. I've only been carrying it for a couple weeks. Wanted to try a light mounted, still carry a handheld light. I spend a lot of time outside in the dark. If after 6 months I don't like it I'll change it up.

I've been looking into getting a RC Phantom and a Streamlight TLR1. I am assuming you must have the light on for the holster to fit properly?

Yes you do.
