My wife was talking to her brother a minute ago and he mentioned he was wanting to see his Glock 23. I know it's not a 1st gen, it's got the rails for a light. Two high cap mags and, I'm guessing, two mags that came with it that are not high cap. He's not shot it much, looks brand new. He said he wanted $450 for it. Is that fair? Because he's a friend I don't want to insult him with a low ball price. But, I would think over $400 would be high, maybe I'm wrong though. Does NOT have night sights.

Damn, got many friends left?

$400 would be fair, anything less is just a bonus.

No kidding.....   450 would be decent, no paperwork or anything..  but 425 is a fair , reasonable price....

Well i got my 23 with trijicon sights for 400 with 1 10 rounder and 1 13 rounder with around 200 rounds down the pipe and that was what my buddy told me he wanted for so i figured without NS it would be a little less... Iv gotten all my Glocks in the 325-400 range all barely used... its going to vary depending where your at.. iv bought a few off cop friends who used their uniform allowance for them anyway so its all profit to them so their more than happy...Most of the time i just ask them what they want for them and thats what they tell me... Thats just been my experience with used Glocks

Not an idiot, you just got friends who don't know or care what shits worth.  There's nothing wrong with that, just make sure you keep cash around.

I'd say 400-450 is fair.  Nicely try to make him go for 400.

Yeah, I think I'd start at $400 as well since it's only coming with 10 rounders.

$400 is a fair price. The other day I picked up a used Glock 23 generation 3 with night sights and 4 Glock Hi Cap magazines for $380, I won it on GunBroker. It was used but in like new condition. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile..

Alright, new problem. Would getting this gun be worth sleeping on the couch? I'm afraid that could be the result

Wow, you must not have that many friends or family that really like you; that is way to cheap...

I'd probably agree if it was a Gen. 1 Glock... maybe.

Yes sir.

"Sleeping on the couch" won't last forever...........eventually she'll get over it, and you'll once again have the love of your wife.

And you'll STILL have the gun...................................

How comfy is the couch?

You need to master the "sealth purchase."
