No.  I think it's most likely aftermarket crap that can potentially cause relibility issues in pistols.  Never tried one, never will, because I don't fix things that aren't broken.

Nicojh was right.

ETA:  Let me explain a bit.

If shit like this was useful, you'd hear about it more.  You'd hear recognized experts in the field of shooting talking about it.

I've read experts talking about, different connectors and trigger springs, different sights, grip reductions, extended controls, etc.  Never heard anybody "in the know" mention anything about "recoil reduction" systems in Glocks................or most other weapons, for that matter.

Makes ya wonder.

Very true... If it was worth a damn you would have heard about it before

I had one for a 1911.  I used it during my 45 Super phase.

Also tried it in regular 45ACP.  Big waste of money.

They WILL affect reliability and do not reduce recoil IMO. I've had personal experience with the Sprinco and another similar system.

Actually, I like the Springco setup in two BHPs and found it does indeed reduce recoil.  I have not had any malfunctions due to this spring - or any malfunctions with the two pistols I have the Springco in.

Believe me, I have a very good snake-oil detector and still give this product thumbs up.

Well, there you go for your answer: informed, authoritative and concise.  This is even less helpful than the BHP example above.

For 80+ dollars I would say F that.  I would just attach lead weights to my pistol to reduce recoil before spending that much to reduce recoil with a spring system.  Which Glock has to much recoil that would need it I shoot .357 Sig and it is nothing compared to a revolver .357Mag.

I have a friend who has had one of these things come apart/break in his gun. (Glock 23)

The two of us had to beat the slide open with a rubber mallet to get the gun apart.

Would I carry one in my gun, hell no!

To each his own.

Okay then, why don't YOU tell us how it's helpful at all to point out that it runs fine, in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TYPE OF GUN.
