| Sorry if the search I did was less than adiquate, but as I was cleaning my 21 today I was wondering what is the difference between the regular oil I use along the guides and the copperish grease that came from the factory in there? I asked about it when I purchased the gun, but the guy said that when its gone its gone. I haven't noticed any increased wear or anything, but just thought I'd slap something up here and see if anyone knew the answer. |

I like this stuff...................here
and I sometimes cut it with a little Kroil |

It is copper anti-seize. Glock has no idea how long their pistols will be sitting in a mud hut in some third world country before they are issued out to execute political dissidents, so they coat the metal contact points with it to insure function after long term improper storage. |

Quoted: I was told that it is basically this stuff. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a368/DEG169/51XZFEHZZ4L.jpg That's exactly what it is. If you want some go to any auto parts store and buy some. It comes in small tubes as well. |
| Top Glock has this stuff. I've used it and it seems like the same stuff from the factory. |

Does anyone use the copper anti-sieze lube on their Glocks exclusively and instead of other traditional gun oil? No. All I use is CLP on them. Wasn't sure if I was missing something as I've seen people say that they buy the copper lube before. Didn't know what they were using it for. |
