I currently have a P226 with a Gem Tech Multi Mount can.  The barrel is a factory threaded barrel with 13.5 X 1 LH threads.  The mount for my can is obviously 13.5 X 1 LH threads.  It appears that
LW and others use the right hand threads.

What barrel can I use?  Would a factory G34 barrel work, and be long enough to thread?  Any recommendations on who to thread it then?  Adco maybe?

Thanks!

Might be cheaper to by another mount from Gemtech ($65?) and a replacement barrel with the same threading.

$150 for the 1/2x28 multimount

& $115 for the LW barrel.

More universal solution.

I had thought of that although I figured it would be easier to maintain the same thread pitch for only one multi mount.

Will factory Glock 34 and 17L barrels fit ok?  I'd prefer to keep the barrel factory Glock.

You could have a factory Glock 34 or 17L barrel cut down and threaded, or a factory Glock 17 barrel sleeved and threaded.

I have been researching this question recently myself.  Tornado Technologies offers both services.  You could also send it to Gemtech.
