What do you like better, the Gen 2 or the Gen 3 Glocks?

I like that the Gen2s don't have the finger grooves. Though the Gen3 finger grooves fit me well and I've been well served by my Gen3s...

as long as it says glock, is in my hand, and is loaded, it's my favorite.

the smaller glocks finger grooves are a bit small for my hand but still work ok. the larger frames fit my short sausage like fingers a bit better.

Gen 2 G19s - I do not like the Gen 3 finger grooves.

I wish they'd put the light rail on the Gen 2 frame.

I like 'em both.

I DO think I prefer gen 2 on fullsized models...................but the gen3 finger grooves on the compacts fit my fingers very well.

Either or....................as I have no real use for the light rail.

On the full size, I like the Gen3's better because I do find the light rail useful and the finger groove fit my hand. On the compacts (G19, G23), I would prefer a Gen2 because with those I don't find the light rail useful and the finger grooves do not fit my hand.

Exactly right. My Gen 2 17 is like THE perfect full size 9mm. For me.

I have big hands I like a light rail on all my pistols, so the Gen 3 gets my vote. However I am no opposed to any Glocks. (well maybe the G.A.P.'s

)

Prefer the gen 3. Thought I wouldn't like the finger grooves but they don't bother me at all, and you get the rail.

I absolutely love the 3rd gen. model. I feel no need to make the change either 2nd or 4th. I have shit load of parts for mine and they have all worked 100%.

Being a GLOCK Armorer, I will just order more parts and pick up a few used gen.3's when I can find them for good prices.

Functionally...3rd gens since the rail gives you dodad options.

Aesthetically...2nd gens.
