| Bought a G21SF yesterday that came with a lasermax laser. I got up this morning and called brightflashlights and ordered a TLR-1 for it as well. Now I can't decide what else to do to it. I need suggestions for sights and such. Also a good holster that will accomodate the light. |
IMHO, lose the laser. Trust me man you don't want to get used to shooting with it only to have it shart out on you when you REALLY need it. I would say get you a good set of night sights ( I like the TruGlo TFO's), ammo, mags, and shoot the hell out of it. After you get some quality trigger time with it you can look into stuff like lighter trigger connectors and such.

This lasers are cool and all but become a crutch people begin to rely on them and when they are not there they are stuck. Good night sights are ten times more valuable. Plus the reliability of the lasermax rods is not there for Glocks. To many failures attributed to them. I am sure Vini will weigh in and say something about lasermax rods and we shall all laugh about his comment. |
| The lasermax came with it, so I'll leave it in for now. I've been shooting for a few years, and have some time behind a 17, 19, 22, 23, and a 29. Ammo is plenty. This is more of a fun gun than a go ton gun. My g19 is my bedside/Edc gun. It is sporting xs big dots and a tlr-1. |

Other than good sights, (of which there are many options––individual choice) there's not a whole lot to recommend for it. Maybe a different Connector or Trigger Spring, depending on your preferrence on trigger pull weight and feel. 'Bout it. I do agree with the poster above about ditching the Lasermax. If I'd bought that, I'd yank it out and sell it. As far as holsters for the pistol with the light attached, Blade-Tech, Safariland, and Bianchi come to mind. All good stuff. |
