Hey Guys,

I got about $100 cash for Christmas and want to modify or accessorize one of my Glock Pistols (23,27,35,30 or 36).

What is the best mod or accessory you would recommend? I already have 5+ mags for each...

Ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Extended mag and slide release and spend the rest on ammo

I'd go for trigger and extended slide stop.

xs sights small dot I have one on my G27 and man is it fast. Big dot if you have senior eyes ,I am almost 41 and I am liking this sight more and more as my eyes age . They are not target sights by any means but you sure can get a fast sight picture , just dot the I, this system has proven its self in dangerious game rifles in Africa for many years

Nice set of night sights and a 3.5# connector.

Vickers Tactical mag release and factory "-" marked connector are the only two mods on mine so they are the only two I would personally recommend.

Heinie Sights and a Grip Plug.

[#8]
Meprolight Night Sights
Ghost Rocket trigger work
S/S Captured recoil guide rod
polishing the feed ramp
Glock plug

That's pretty much all you need to do to a Glock.

Pardon my ignorance, but are those like DIAS's for Glocks?

ETA: Only things I would get are a good set of night sights, a Vicker's mag release, a 3.5# connector and a NY1 spring.

Yes, it is part of the vacation package to Club Fed.

Got mine! Though I think the best mod is to lose those cheap, plastic factory sights ASAP.

Good sights, tritium optional.

Steel sights, tritium if you want. Vickers mag release. Mags and ammo.

IF they are all stock, then.

Night sights for the CCW or HD one you like the most.  Warrens or Ameriglo are both under 100, you'll have enough left for a 3.5 connector.

Then a light, and it will go from glock to glock.

PS, how the hell did you end up with 5 glocks before you ever pimped one at all, that's a first.

Lever is a nice touch, but I prefer the back sliding bar design instead.

You thumb the back of the slide for the first shot suppressed on semi to get the job done without dropping a spent case, then if you need to deal with others, a quick shift of the tab to take it to full and a slide cock, and you off to the races.

If you don't have night sights, I'd say them.  Another good addition that I like is Glock's extended slide release.  Other than that some polishing compound to do a .25 trigger job.  I don't think any other things are needed for a Glock other than perhaps a light and definitely a good holster or two.

I would say night sights first.

Hey Thanks for the suggestions!

My pistols all have night sights already. Like most of you, I own about a dozen holsters and use about 4....I've got plenty of ammo..of course, I could always use more...

Where do I get more specific information on the 25 cent trigger job?

[#23]
You can google .25 Trigger Job, or Glocktalk probably has a tacked thread on it.  Shame we don't.

What specifically are you trying to accomplish by "accessorizing"?  Depends on your ultimate goals............as you probably know, Glocks run best when left stock......................

Me, I like NY1 Trigger Springs................just a personal preferrence, most folks don't like 'em.  And it's all of 5 bucks to get one.................

Perhaps some factory Glock +2s for some of your mags.............I've been running some of late, nothing but good reports on them.  Love 'em, am getting more as I can afford them.........................

Other than that, more mags, more ammo.  Can't have enough of those two.

If you already have night sights and ammo I would buy a bunch of G18 mags.

Unfortunately all his pistols are .40 and .45ACP, according to his original post.

This guy does a pretty good job explaining the .25 cent trigger job.
