| Getting close to getting the new G23 RTF. Handled one the other day and I was impressed. This is my CCW and I will be selling my current Gen 3 G23 to get the new RTF. |

If you have a 3rd gen G23 already for carry, I strongly recommend that you go to the gunshop and have them let you put the G23RTF2 in your carry holster and walk around with it a bit.
I wanted a G19RTF2 big time until I got to handle one. The grip texturing is pretty sharp. Without an undershirt I think the texturing could get a little abrasive on your skin. I wear a wife beater and the texturing kind of wanted to grab the undershirt as I moved around. Make sure you are confident with your decision before you send your 3rd gen G23 packing. |

That is the reason I never got one of the RTF2's. I like the texture I like how it feels in my hand but I do not like how it feels IWB or in a holster near my cloths/skin. |

The texture has a very aggresive feel. It will definately grab clothing or skin. |

I like the RTF as well, and would be willing to knock the texture down a bit for carry. |

It is not nearly as "spikey" compared to new. If you want one, I would get it. Glock is going to discontinue them once the Gen4 comes out. |
