| I'm looking to get a Warren Tactical Rear and FO front from my 17 for use in IDPA/USPSA. For those who have Warren's what height do you have on your front? .215 (six o'clock hold) or .245 (Point of Aim/Impact)? |
| Not to hi-jack the thread, but what makes the Warren Tactical sights so great? I'm not trying to say there is anything wrong with them, because I've never used them. I just want to know why they get so much praise, since I'm trying to find a sight to standardize on for my Glocks. I currently have experience with XS Big Dot sights which will be getting replaced by a Trijicon green front and yellow rear sight. |

When I show someone my Warren sights that's never seen them before I tell them to focus on the rear. Their reply is usually "I can't" or something to that effect. |
| I had XS Big Dots on my 26 and 17 and gave them a really good try - who wouldn't for the price. I recently, however, replaced them with the Warren Tactical Night Sights 3-lamps and could not possibly be more satisfied with a sight system. The rear lamps are smaller than the front and are a much softer amber color - front is big green. Daylight, the front takes your eye as noted without having to search for it in the wide notch. Lollipops just don' t work for me. |

This –– the shape of the rear sight just causes you to very instinctively align the front right in the middle of the rear and allows you to completely ignore it (the rear sight). |
