What is the story behind the GSSF discount? Any of you guys utilized it?

Join the GSSF and they will send you a certificate for one discounted pistol per year. There is a list if LE dealers on the website where you can use the certificate. Last time I used the certificate(last Dec.) it had the prices listed on the cert. itself. The price for the basic pistol with standard plastic sights was $398. The .45's are a little more.I have another cerificate coming as we speak.
