I have a brief question. Is it normal for a Glock 17 magazine to have play inside the magwell? I have a Glock 27 and it has no play, but the 17 magazine fits pretty lose inside the magwell to the point that I can move it around (Freefloat) feels lose.  I tried a Glock 18 mag and it had no play.

Glocks are designed so that the magazine is 'freefloating'.
When you say you tried a Glock18 mag... What did you mean a 33rd mag? I ask only because the 17 and 18 take the same mags.

It's all good.
Glock 31 is a .357 SIG.
As long as you are using Glock factory 9mm mags, you're good to go.

ETA: sorry I thought it said G31 not 31rds. lol. my mistake.

The mags can move around a little bit in my 17. I'd say it's normal. How does it shoot?

Follow up: Shot the hell out of it. The only problem I encounterd was that while shooting the slide would stay back half mag or so and I had to practice the old tap and rack method. I figure it might be due to weak magazine springs and ordered some wolff spring for the mags.
