I remember being told a few years ago not to shoot nonjacketed (lead nose) ammo through a glock, only jacketed rounds. It came up in conversation and I realized that I had no idea if this were true.
Is it okay to shoot non jacketed rounds or will it jack up the rifling?

I reload and shoot lead bulltes in my Glocks (17,19,34) and never had a problem.

Polygonal rifleing is not good with lead. Glock recommends you NOT shoot lead.

However...

I cast and reload. About 99% of my shooting is LEAD. Just clean thouroughly after each 200 rounds or so.
I have replaced 2 Glock barrels with KKM barrels, and like them a lot. They have conventional rifling, and are much more accurate w/ lead.

LWD barrels and I'm an FMJ all the way, shooter.

Shot the G20 and G29 w/Double Tap Equalizer 230's today. They are freakin incredible (two 'shots' per cartridge)!

They are just made for arfcomers.

Lead NOSED should be fine, depending on how much isn't jacketed.

Experience of our brethren notwithstanding, if Gaston asks you not to shoot it, stay away.  (With factory barrel)
