I've got an old g17 that i'd like to upgrade the frame on.  Can anyone tell me what glock charges to do that?

Thanks,
Mark

The new frame will not have the same serial number, and you will still have the older style slide.
Making the firearm a mismatched s/n will make it harder to sell in the future.

My suggestion is to sell the Glock and buy a newer model of the same type.  If you can wait a while longer, you could get the upcoming 4th gen.

If you add in shipping, you will be money ahead if you sell your gun and buy a brand new one.  If you can get the LE, FF, Mil deal, you will get a better price and three mags.

I upgraded a 17 back when you could get a lower from a dealer.  I think that is no longer possible.

I sold a 2nd Gen 21 for $350 and bought a new one for around $450 with three mags.

Sell that older generation Glock to those of us who would like to get our hands on one and buy a new (or new to you) generation Glock.

Sell it, and buy a new one if you want the upgrade, as already posted.

Even if you have night sights or some other custom work, as long as it's not a complete carry package, you'll be making out better in the long run.

Is it a Gen 1 or Gen 2 you are trying to get rid of?
