Hey all,

I installed a few parts in my 19 last night (3.5# connector, extended mag release, extended slide release) and got it all put back together fine.

However- I can't remember if it was like this before or not. The center part of the trigger seems to be a little loose. As in, I can move it both ways- push it in towards the trigger but I can also pull it towards the front of the gun a few millimeters.

Is this normal?

Here is a picture with the safety pulled away from the trigger:

if it's not normal, what should I do to fix it?

Your description sounds normal and your picture looks normal to me. That little thingy can do a lot of moving around.

Obviously with an unloaded gun, when you go to pull the trigger and dry fire it, you don't get any hang-up with the trigger safety do you? There should be no issue with getting the gun to fire.

Yes, that looks and sounds perfectly normal.  As long as it's functioning properly and doing it's job, you have nothing to worry about.

Mine did the same thing after installing an NY1 spring. Functions just dandy, but seemed kind of strange to me at first.
