| I know that you can email Bushmaster your serial number and they will tell you when it was made. I bought my GLOCK 17 in 1998 but I really don't know when the manufacture date was. You guys know way to find out how old your GLOCK is? |

THAT is where to look, right there. Quick and easy. Very comprehensive list, and it jives with the other referrence material I have. They've done a good job with that over there. Just go down the list. According to model, that letter prefix will show you what month and year it was made. The G17 I'm carryin' right now was built in Feb of '90. Still goin' strong. |

my 23: RZ - G-23 - December 1990 - 2nd Gen. frame- oddly enough I can't find the barrel on that site: L is the only prefix to the SN... (my dad had a problem with the barrel and had it replaced by Glock)
my 35: EEE - G-35 / G-34 - Unknown - 3rd Gen. (guessing between Jan and May 2001) cool stuff- thanks for the link! |

G19 born in 07/1988 w/Austrian Proofs on Slide, Barrel and Frame. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g214/c133jim/DSCN1549.jpg VERY nice! Talk about perfection. |
My G19c is from Feb of '09. Bought it in like new condition for 325 after trading in a Ruger MkI. I decided it was the MkI for plinking or a 19c for a carry gun. I opted for the carry option and the G19c was too good a deal to pass up. Got the gun a few months after I turned 18. Was "gifted" to me from my Dad since I can't buy one until I'm 21. But I do have a carry permit for the state of Maine. Funky laws up here
It's annoying to have my dad (3 hours away, as I'm in college) buy me ammo for my concealed carry gun since I have to be 21 and the "It's for my High Point Carbine" phrase doesn't fly with the Wally World folk.
