BG Meat tenderizer.

Also keeps your Glock from being pushed out of battery.

I guess you could sell a bunch to China for a no slip round to the head execution.

GG&G standoff device? Haven't seen one in years and can't tell if that is one or just similar.

It's obviously a muzzle "impact device".  It would allow you to impact a target at contact distance, or have the muzzle firmly against the target while shooting.  The device would prevent the pistol from being pushed out of battery in a case like this.

Good luck getting it to fit properly in a holster with that thing on though.  Would probably fit some, but not all.

It falls into the category of "tacticool gimmick", from what I see.

Not sure who makes it.

Good call!  Yet another thing that makes it useless, in my opinion.  It appears to have an Allen-head screw type attachment, not quick-detatch like a light.

I forget who makes them.  Brownell's dropped them from their catalog some time ago.  I'm a real help aren't I?

I could see that being useful to someone who shots people in the back of the head or back.  So that they can not push back on the slide and make it where you can not shoot them but for all practical and useful shooting purposes it is useless and pointless.  Anyone who is going to shot someone 99.999999999999% of the time will never get close enough to put their pistol directly in contact with the opposing force because you are just asking to get your pistol taken away by the other person especially if they are some Krav Magra master.  If you are lucky maybe they will just pistol whip you with your own pistol.  Yes I totally agree makes field stripping a pain in the ass.

I believe it is called a CQB Standoff Device.  And I think it was made by a company called Arms Room.  Not 100% sure though.  Either way, it is completely pointless...but it does add Tacticool Points, which everyone here knows is all that matters.

The one pictured was made by The Arms Room, and used to be available though Brownells, but was dropped years ago.
