A couple of months ago I was ordering some small parts from Dillon and notice the Korean G22 mags for $15.95 each so I added two to my order.
The mags (of course) were BO'd and finally showed up yesterday. My G22 is a older pre finger groove model and all the other mags I have (Glock factory 10 & 14 rd, & 2 Scherer's) fit and function fine. The 2 korean mags are very snug going in and a hard pull to remove. By the marks on the back of the mag sides it looks like this is the area that is binding. got out my calipers and measured a sampling of my mags and these are the results: Glock 10 rd: front to back width: 1.306" side to side thickness:.915" Glock 14 rd: front to back width: 1.312" side to side thickness:.910" Glock 14 rd LEO: front to back width: 1.308" side to side thickness:.910" Scherer 29 rd: front to back width: 1.308" side to side thickness:.895" Korean 14 rd: front to back width: 1.315" side to side thickness:.924" The Korean mags are marginally larger in both dimensions. So now I'm wondering, do older G22's(or at least mine) have a slightly narrower mag well or are these Korean mags actually out of spec 2nd's. Thoughts??? |

You have 14rnd mags for your G22. All my mags 15rnds. |
