Sorry, I used the search function and nothing turned up for the last 30 days (max amount allowed)...
I've *heard* that a G20 short frame is out or is coming out? is this mere puffery or fact? |

Quoted: What makes you think that? The SF is the same width as the regular frame and the lower backstrap is the only real difference between the two so there shouldn't be any difference in felt recoil.Quoted: Stick with the standard frame, it'll dissipate recoil better. ![]() Quoted: That would depend entirely upon what 10mm and 45acp ammo you were comparing. While the 10mm can be loaded with very strong loads, the average 10mm ammo doesn't have a much stronger recoil than the 40sw loads. It just depends upon what you want to shoot.
How different in felt recoil is it from the G21? |

So is the g20sf out yet? I don't see it on gunbroker and have not seen it at any local gunshops. Yes, they're there. I bought mine 2-3 months ago & it was only the second one the gun shop had gotten in. They're not common based on two things, IMO. 1) Glock doesn't make a lot of them as they're probably THE slowest seller of all their models. 2) Gun shops usually order what they sell & the Model 20 is probably THE slowest seller & maybe they figure the 20SF to be slow as well. I found NO difference in felt recoil between my Model 20 & 20SF. I found the SF grips fit my hands a LOT better & I have large hands too. I also added a 3-1/2lb trigger & a hi-viz front sight to both models. These made them shoot MUCH better for me. My .o2 |
