hello im getting my first glock this weekend and it is a g20 i want to put a long slide on it. i have searched around on different sites and it seems that it is either very rare to find a 6" slide or there are no more being produced. my question is (probably dumb) are all glock slides interchangeable? could i put a g 35 slide on my g20? as long as i converted to 40? or does anyone know where to get a g20 long slide?
thanks bahbo |

Welcome. Your Glock is a Large Frame model and therefore only the G20 and G21 slides will fit it. Yes, the German steel slides are no longer made, however, Lone Wolf Distributors is coming out with both a 5.5" (T) tactical and 6.0" long (L) slides for your G20. They currently have in stock both the G21 T & L slides and I expect the 10mm versions very soon. Contact JR or Danny at Lone Wolf and they will be able to fix you up. BTW, you're going to love a 6" slide and barrel on your G 20. I know I do. |

if i want to go to 45 do i just get complete a 45 slide with all the parts in it or do i have to swap parts in the frame as well? The frames for the G21 (45 Auto) and the G20 (10mm Auto) are the same. If you purchase a G21 slide (complete) you will be able to drop it onto your G20 frame and use it right away (with the proper magazines, of course, since they too are different). |

Quoted: All true but: G21SF can take the Kriss 30+ round mags...an arfcom must have! And don't dare convert your new G20 to .40, 10mm rules! The fact is that any large frame Glock (G20, 20SF, 21, 21SF, 29, 29SF, 30 or 30SF) can accept the Kriss 30+ round .45acp mags whether it has a 45acp top end or 10mm top end on it. However, if you have a 10mm top end, the .45acp ammo won't fit in the chamber. |
