is it true that you can take a G22 or any .40cal glock and make it a .357 or a 9mm with just a barrel for the .357 and a barrel+mag for 9mm, and vant go to .45 due to bigger frame?

reason is i have some 9mm and .40 already and i wanted to get a glock, so i decided a g17 for cheap 9mm but if i can get a .40 and shoot both with diffrent barrel and mag then it would be perfect, i could also get a .22lr conversion.

Just double checking before i buy a .40 and find out i cant do it when i want to shoot 9mm most of the time.

Yes.

Stock .357 barrel and mags to convert G22 to .357.

CONVERSION barrel and 9mm mags to convert G22 to 9mm.  Sometimes requires a 9mm extractor also for 100% reliability.

Yes you can change any .40 glock to shoot .357 Sig or 9mm.  I have a G35 and I purchased a lone wolf barrel from the EE, 4 G17 mags and a 9mm extractor.  Vilia, a G34 that's cheap to practice with.

I have a G22 and purchased the Lone Wolf 9mm threaded conversion barrel and the Lone Wolf comp.  Shoots great.  I orderd 9mm mags from another source so the first time I went out I just used the G22 40S&W mags and they ran the 9mm just fine.  I was only putting 6 in a mag at a time since that is how we run Action Pistol here.  Not sure I really needed those 9mm mags.

I fogot to mention that I run 9mm lead small ball through my Lone Wolf barrel - works great.
