I read on here that someone was claiming that either the 21SF/30SF had some widespread issues?
True? - If so, what are the problems, have they been fixed? Or just horse crap? |
| we have MANY 21sf's issued out, including mine. no issues whatsoever. I've had mine for over a year now...no probs. this includes a week long instructor course, many rounds fired and i was too lazy to clean it every night, it kept working, so I kept getting lazier. I think I cleaned it once....don't hate me! Maybe I'm sick or something but, I think a glock looks beautiful when it is absolutely filty. |

I'm hoping to be getting a 30SF soon and thought that I might try to get one with the non-amb mag catch though. |

SUPPOSIDLY: there have been increased reports of the "SF" compact big bores having reliability problems, but its connected to the trigger/trigger bar area IIRC...but i only heard this on the grapevine and on other sites (like glock talk)
take that FWIW imo: its nothing |

Why would a slight change to the dumbest most inconsequential part of the gun suddenly make it have problems? This +1 What a dumb post BTW. ...yeah I thought that I heard from someone somewhere...come on...
Umm ok, I read it on this site - the guy seemed serious and knew what he was talking about - it had something to do w/ what alphaghost said If you didn't like my question then don't post in the thread - Anyways, I bought a G30SF!!!!!! |

Sorry. I sleep with my 21SF. Don't like people talking unfounded crap on it. It is the one gun I always have if I have nothing else. Mine is 100% reliable just like every other Glock I've owned, shot, seen shot, clean, dirty, cold, hot, dry, or wet. No Problems man No Problems. |

Anyone remember the "mystery line/crack" reported on some Glock 21SF's? Mine is a KVS LE model with the 1913/ambi and it has this "line". Doesn't appear to be a crack and after a few thousand rounds, it hasnt changed one bit. Im guessing if it were a crack it would have grown or progressed with use. Does anyone remember this? What was the resolution?
I cant believe you guys don't like the 1913/ambi G21SF's. Best looking Glock ever... Other than not being able to use a SERPA or the zillion already availible G21 mags, its pretty awesome.

The only prob I had with it was the ambi mag release..... If you want a problem, that is likely the best I could come up with, but not how 223spree described... I think the ambidextrous released gun not being able to accept the older magazines isn't looked at too highly. I picked up a few Glock 21 magazines before the election, and then found out I could only get an SF model with the older release or a non-SF gun. Now, I was a little pissed, but was still going to get one. Went to the range to check on a gun I bought online, and asked the owner about one. Started talking about other .45 polymer guns, and he offered a new PX4 that would be there in the next few days... which I felt was better than the two or three month wait on him getting a Glock for me (sold the magazines for what I paid for them, plus the loader I picked up). So, failures weren't the reason for me going a different route, but no availability (if you wanted the only two things I disliked; the magazines and then no second strike). |
...yeah I thought that I heard from someone somewhere...come on...
