| I'm looking at getting 2 pistols either a G19-G26 or a G-23-27 combo. What the hell would you guys do. I already own both calibers. |

LoL, i don't know maybe buy something you normally wouldn't then. Change it up a little. Geez do you even own any guns or just trolling here??? I would do the 27/23 combo. I LOVE my 23 just need a little fine tuning on the rear sight since the nights were installed it shoots to the left.... |

9mm is just as effective as .40, it feeds more reliably (almost any round feeds more reliably than the truncated .40) and it's cheaper. Definitely go with the G26 and G19.
Or, if you want to save some money and gain flexibility, you can just buy the G26 and drop a G19 barrel in it. Then you can use the stock G26 mags or G19 mags with an A&G mag sleeve. This combination allows you to change your G26 into a G19 and back again in just a few seconds. |
| If it were me I would go with a full size model 17/22 and subcompact 26/27 this gives you greater flexibility in whatever you may decide to do with them In my opinion the size diff. betweena Glock 19/23 and 26/27 are not substantual enough that it warrants buying both. THey are really pretty close in size so i went with a Glock 22 and 27 the Glock 22 for open carry, competition, etc and Glock 27 as concealed carry. Or if you have budget shortcomings I would go with the compact version i.e. 19/23 whcih can serve the purpose for both. |

| Just bought my 19 this week. Had previously switched from 27 to 26. I'm comfortable with the caliber. I shoot the 9mm better (speed, accuracy, and when needed one handed), especially with the sub-compact. The 27 was also the only .40 I owned, so I also eliminated a caliber to stock up ammo for. Look at the caliber choices and pick the one your comfortable with. |

I don't understand the whole thing of buying a half dozen glocks. I can understand buying a compact and a full size model but I don't see why someone would want to have 5 glocks that use the same caliber. I love glocks, don't get me wrong. The G 21 is bad as hell. But I am the type to get different types of guns. Maybe a beretta, a USP, a colt, or a tanfoglio.
With all that being said, I would go the route of the G 19 combo. I have heard nothing but good reviews about the 19. |

All those different pistols have different triggers, safeties, decockers, etc. She has much better reaction times w/ the consistent and simple weapons she's familar w/ . Her ability to learn the different weapons to a memory reflex is better than I give her credit but it is piece of mind for me. She shoots the Glock the best and it was already my weapon of choice. I only use G22 mags for reloads so that they fit everything, 22's, 23's and 27's. It's nice to collect different guns and I did for awhile but economics has made me choose and I went w/ one platform of self defense weapons. |

Damn, because of this type of issue, I am hesitant about having my new Triji's installed... go with what your good at... |

Sorry guys, Decided to go in a different direction. A complete Larue Stealth Sniper System. Thanks All. I got to shoot the Stealth (12", w/and w/o a Surefire can) and the 16" OSR at a demo the other day... I voted 19/26, but PIE should have been a choice, too. |
| 19/26 here. The 19 is really the perfect pistol and if I could just have one that would be it. I run my 26 with factory +2 mags. Many people will tell you that is a waste and I should just carry a 19, I say no I'd rather take my 26. That said the 26 is my carry and the 19 is in the nitestand with a TLR-1 mounted. |
