Got a problem with my newest glock..
I recently purchased a NIB glock 23 to go along with my three others (21,27,35).  The 23 has only around 100 rounds fired since its purchase.  The problem is a recurring issue with failing to eject the empty casing.  This problem occurred three times today while firing 50 rounds.  I've never had any such problems with my other glocks.  I used the same ammo with my 27 and 35 without any problems whatsoever.  I'm thinking its an internal issue.  Anyone have any ideas?

extractor?

Is it not extracting the case from the chamber, or not ejecting it from the gun?

If it's not pulling it out of the chamber, it's an extractor issue.

If it's not ejecting it from the gun, could be a broken ejector, could be slide not going far enough back(recoil spring).

Weak/Crappy ammo?  Remington bulk pack?

What happens when you try different stuff?

To clear things up...

The casing is failing to completely eject from the chamber.

As far as ammo...it's winchester 155 gr. FMJs.  The ammo is the same as what i used in 27 and 35.
But, with that said, going to try my carry ammo - Speer GDHP - to see if that corrects it.

Try switching extractors with another one of your .40 models and see if that solves it.

If so....well....then its your extractor

...Or call Glock to have them look at it so you don't have that issue messing with your mind. I like my guns to eat any ammo I give it. My G23 has been great to me.

Give glock a call and see what they say.

I've had problems with win 180gr in the 100 round value pack from walmart last year in a G23 that had 200 rounds through it. A couple of months prior, I had the same faluare to extract in a Beretta 96 that had 800 rounds through it with no problems. It was maybe one failure in 200 rounds. Neither has done this again since switching to blasser brass.
