Quick structural question. For my G30, can I use the whole on the bottom of the grip for a lanyard safely?

I think that is what that hole if for. Someone more knowledgeable will come along and confirm it.

It might look like very little plastic but it's enough for a lanyard to do it's job. It's not like you're gonna swing it around over your head like a bolo.

Yes, OP, that's EXACTLY what the hole was designed for. It is in fact the lanyard attachment point.

That is exactly what glock made that hole for. lol i was just looking at glocks accessories on their website the other day, and the sell a glock lanyard and show a picture of it going through that hole.
