Hey all.
I have a glock 17 and, im looking in purchase a laser for it. Im questionable about this laser, the laser max sabre. Its relatively new and saw it at my local gun show and thought it was pretty awesome. Only problem is, i dont know how it will feel when i start shooting it. It feels very comfortable in my hand, but i dont know if theirs any other solutions. The only problem i have with a laser on my rail is that it im afraid that with all the shooting i do, it'll eventually get burned. And idont like the guide rod laser. lol. So any help will be apprecatThanks Frank- Heres a link to the laser max sabre: Laser Max Sabre |

The Sabre has been around for a long time. It is just the Crimson Trace being marketed by Lasermax now. I guess they figured they would try their hand at it. From what I can tell, as Crimson Trace they didn't sell all that well. I saw new prices on them gradually go down over several months. I don't know if there is something inherently wrong with them, that they weren't selling, but I bought one and don't like it. To me, the huge bulb hanging off the to the side interferes with my ability to quickly rack the slide if I have to.
I don't understand what you mean by a laser getting burned because of all the shooting you do. Have you ever seen a laser get burned from a lot of shooting? I'm pretty sure laser makers take these things into account when they make these things. I think that is a non-issue. |
