Does anyone know if there is a front that is short enough that it will not hang over the cutout in the slide. My Warren sight hangs over a tad, and although I really don't think it will snag on anything, there is always the potential. I thought about using a factory steel sight, but I think it may be a bit short to work with the Warren rear. Any thoughts?

Dawson's sights should work.  They don't hang over on the two 35's I have or my buddies 3 34's.

I believe that the cutout on the 17L extends a little further as opposed to the 34/35s. My Warren hung over a tad under an 1/8th.

Thanks for the input guys. For the time being I have modified a Yost-Bonitz front I had. I'll look into the Mepros.
