| Was there a 1st generation G17L? I had a freind just call me and ask If I want to purchase one but not sure if there were 1st gen ones made. Any info would be great. Thanks |

Well it turns out it was not a 1st gen 17L but an early 2nd gen G17 with a HG serial# prefix, it also has all the Austrian proof marks and is in excellent condition. It came with original box, the 2 original 17rnd mags and 2 newer LE marked mags. I know this gun has not had any of the updates that are recommended and I'm not going to get them done unless I have an issue, the internals are black not silver. Not a bad score for 300.00  .
