Picked up a second gen G19 the other day. havent shot it yet but while cycling snap caps thru it, it is occasionally failing to extract them.
Never tore down my glocks yet, anything else i should replace while in there for good measure? thanks for the help |
| Instead of just replacing parts, why don't you just look at them and see if they are damaged? I am willing to bet there is absolutely nothing wrong with the gun. The problem is simply that the snap caps aren't properly dimensioned. If there is something wrong with your extractor bad enough to cause this problem, you will be able to tell just by looking at it. It will be chipped or broken where the extractor grabs the rim of the cartridge. |
