| I was reading the other day about the discount that Glcok is providing to law enforcement, military, etc. Does anyone have info on this. Can it be applied at local gunshops, etc. Any help would be appreciated. |

The price for LE stocking dealers is $399 or at least that is what it cost me in TN. It was $447.92 after taxes and the background check. I was told the prices are the same for all models as long as they are the basic without night sights or anything else. LE guns do come with three mags.
I was told by a rep at Glock that if you provided documentation that qualifies for the discount that they would ship the firearm to the FFL of your choice. The cost would be $399 plus shipping. Then when you figure in the transfer fee and the background you are well above what it would cost if you find a LE stocking dealer. This conversation was last year when I called from overseas. Dolomite Most models are that price in 9/40/357, however the .45, 10mm, and the longslide and competition models are more (don't remember how much off the top of my head, somewhere around $65 or so) |

I was only interested in the 17 or 22. I decided on the 17 because I have a few other guns in the house that are 9mm. I have recently started loading for 9mm, never thought I would but it is now cheaper than buying any brand, including Wolf. Dolomite |

Dolomite Not always true. The LEO dealer by me chatges $439 for the gun. Then they charge $25 for a $5 backround check...so in essence they are charging for the extra mag as well. It would actually be cheaper for me to buy directly from Glock and have it shipped. |
| Not all Glock dealers are LEO dealers. I paid $399+tax for a mod27 w/3 mags. If I recall correctly the total was $417 with tax. Last Friday I picked up a mod21SF w/3 mags for $501.36 out the door. All Glocks are supposed to come with 3 mags if they are purchased from a LEO dealer. I had to provide a copy of my commision card and drivers license. They do trade ins where you give them your old Glock and $150 to get a new pistol. I attended a Glock armorers course today and my LEO dealer is running a special for the next three months where you trade in along with $99 and get the new pistol. |
