Radio Cowboy-
If thats the best way to go, ill deffinatly get g17 mags. I just thought that they may gap at the frame and look slightly out of place. Thought the extensions would sit more like magazine drop pads and fit the frame better. Saw there are factory extensions, are those any good? Pat |

I have had no problem with the factory glock +2 but like another poster I have had trouble with other brands
I'm fortunate that glock is 30 minutes from home and they will put them on for you for $10 each You might be able to mail them to glock and get the same deal |

The factory ones arent bad, but for the cost, you cannot beat a G17 mag. Why spend 10 bucks on an extension to make it carry the same amount of rounds as a factory 17 mag? I run 17's almost exclusively at the range in my G19. Its a Glock, who cares how it looks.

Yes, just use G17 mags. This would be your most reliable option. They don't stick out that far, they don't look "out of place".........and your weapon isn't about fashion, it's about function. That's the way I look at mine, anyway.
And no, I wouldn't use those slip-on adapters. No need whatsoever, and you'll pinch the hell out of your hand in a fast reload. Or Glock factory +2, they are the best. |

I think you have gotten your answer, from people much more knowledgeable and experienced than myself. I have stock G19 mags for my G19..... don't even own an extended mag, but can't really see the purpose of a G19+2 extension over a G17 mag. Serves the same purpose but with one less possible malfunction. Michael |

Thanks for the info guys. Im just gona stick with factory 19mags in the gun for carry, and leave the 17s stashed for reloads.
I wasnt worry about the fashion aspect of the mags looking out of place on a smaller gun, i was just wondering if it would print more due to the mags sticking out further and not following the lines correctly. Pat |
