| Can someone clearly in the know, tell me where the Glock 20SF's are in the supply chain. Any productions numbers, do any distributers have any yet. How long before they trickle down to the local gun dealer. I thought after the SHOT show, I'd hear more updated info, but haven't heard anything consise. |

G of G stated that there were some at my local gunshop, Prairie Arms. I called them and they told me that they are on order but to their knowledge, no one has received them yet. They don't have an estimated delivery date. They asked if I wanted to come in and put down a deposit to hold one. I asked if they had sold any yet and they said, "Yes, a few." |

All you guys seriously thinking about getting a G20 are in for a very pleasant surprise when you get one. The G20 shoots like a dream and even with hot rounds its not a punishing gun like some 1911s because of both the wider backstrap and the flex in the frame when it fires. And, hype aside, the 10mm is an awesome round. You can load it from mild 40sw levels to fire breathing 10mm nuclear levels and still shoot it all day in your G20. Speaking of 'load', if you don't already reload, you will with a 10mm because the difference between reloaded ammo cost and factory ammo is staggering. But the bright side of reloading is once you've bought the 10mm brass (Starlight is pricey but the best value in the long run) the price to reload it is the same as for a 40sw. They can use the same bullet (I'm partial to 165 & 180grn screamers but you can go from 155grn to 220grn), the primers cost the same, and the price difference in powder is less than 1¢ per round. |

Yea I have be reading the ABC'S of reloading and thinking about getting the dillion square deal B or the 550 just for the 10mm and MAYBE the .45 but mainly for the 10MM
COSteve is right the 10mm is a great round I have learned to love this round and its GREAT!!! now I just have to get me a ncie set up just for my pistols to reload and start with reloading! |

Has anyone every ordered from gallery of guns Have a friend that wants to and just was curious if anyone has and if its an ok place before he jumps in. Placed an order today for my 20sf ![]() I don't believe that you can actually buy from Gallery of Guns(Davidson's) as they are a wholesaler. If you go to their site it will direct you to a dealer in your area to buy from. |
|
I might be wrong but from what I read it looks like you buy from them and they will ship it to your dealer for the FFL paperwork I just never have bought one like this and didnt know if anyone delat with davidsons before just dont want a friend to get the shaft.

I need to email Glock and see if I can just buy a SF Frame for my old 20 and swap it out or send them the old frame maybe they can put the old serial number on new one just a thought Won't happen.
Acquiring a new 20SF = a new gun, thus requiring a NICS & 4473. I'm just going to put back in the OEM trigger group & trade my 20 in. I'll put the 3.5lb trigger group in the new SF when I get it home. |
